Competition in this year’s Battle of the Bands is really hotting up says organiser Triston Finnis of Twisted Melon Promotions.
The winners in Heat 3 were St Neots group The Mojo Slide who just edged out Finding Ana.
This round was staged at Lynn’s newest music venue, The Rathskeller Bar at Hanse House on the South Quay, and Finnis said: “It was another great night and it was a very tight result.
“The Mojo Slide are an original act, writing all their own stuff and playing rock-funk with a touch of country. They got the nod, but Finding Ana were unlucky not to go through.”
Continuing the trend to move the rounds to different venues, Heat 4 will be staged at The Fenman in Lynn (opposite the railway station) on Easter Sunday, April 20, from 7pm.
On stage will be Gifford, Addisons Uncle, Dead Horse, East Angles Brass Band and Disabled Angel.
