King’s Lynn charity burglary arrests

Police have arrested a man and two teenagers in connection with a burglary at a Lynn charity.

Three bikes and power tools, worth a total of £3,000, were taken from an outbuilding at the Discovery Centre, Columbia Way, in North Lynn.

Two 17-year-old boys were arrested on Monday on suspicion of burglary.

Officers also arrested an man in his ’60s on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

All three have been released on police bail until Tuesday, April 1.

The theft occurred between February 21 and 23.

In a separate incident police are appealing for witnesses after a bag was snatched from a man’s shoulder on a South Lynn footpath.

The man was walking towards the town centre on February 19, between 6.45pm and 7pm, when a cyclist grabbed the distinctive VW white bag.

It contained a white Iphone 4s, leather filofax and white beats headphones.
