Organisers of Lynn’s annual Festival Too are taking promotion of this year’s event across the region after forming a partnership with bus bosses.

There is just over a week to go until the opening night of the 30th annual festival in King’s Staithe Square next Saturday, June 27.

And, with the feast of entertainment just around the corner, the festival committee has teamed up with Stagecoach in Norfolk, formerly Norfolk Green, to have a double decker bus specially painted to promote the event.

The bus is now set to be on the road across West Norfolk, southern Lincolnshire and northern Cambridgeshire over the coming weeks.

Festivial committee chairman Bridget Nurse said: “We are extremely grateful to Stagecoach for their continued support to promote our 30th year line-up.”

Sue Atter, of Stagecoach, added: “We are pleased that we have been able to help promote the event in this way and hope that the local community all benefit from the fantastic programme of events that are lined up for 2015.”

A host of big names including Heaven 17, Bucks Fizz, Dodgy, Republica and The Fratellis will take to the stage over the three weekends of Festival Too, which culminate on July 11.

The programme also includes a new event aimed at families on the afternoon of July 5.
