King’s Lynn fighters battle in charity event

Fighters from Lynn are taking part in the Fenmen Fightnight charity event on Saturday May 30 at the Littleport Leisure Centre, Camel Road, Littleport, Cambridgeshire.

Doors open at 6pm; first fight 7pm.

Fighters from Lynn are James Doorman and Jess Clarke from the Den Gym, plus Mark Greenacre, Josh Mann, Carrie Beckerson, and Tommy Pope from the Cobra Gym Lynn.

Fighters are also coming from Belgium, France, Spain, Wales and Scotland. There will be world professional kickboxing titles England vs Morocco, plus six other boxing and kickboxing titles,

Organisers Dell Mann and Mark Norris said: “We would like to thank all sponsors, fighters, trainers and supporters for helping us raise money for Marie Curie Cancer support nurses in our area.”

The venue was changed from Wisbech due to problems at Wisbech with an event licence.
