King’s Lynn firm holds festive Foodbank fundraiser

Julie Payne, office manager at Coldstore Limited on Lynn’s Hardwick Industrial Estate, held a Christmas fundraiser in aid of the King’s Lynn food bank at St Ann’s Fort.

Tim Freeze and Brian McDermott, owners of the company, were so impressed by Julie’s efforts and the staff’s generosity, that they decided to get involved themselves and donate £500 also, to help in their search for a new premises.

Tracy Hutton, food bank project worker said: “King’s Lynn Foodbank is very grateful to have the support of such a well established local business.”

Mrs Hutton also mentioned she has three potential properties to view in the new year and may be able to move the food bank to a bigger premises sooner than she anticipated.
