Revised plans to build six new homes in Lynn have been recommended for approval by planning officials.

Initial proposals for seven properties on land north and north-east of 19 Gaywood Road were turned down by West Norfolk Council’s planning committee last year.

An appeal against that decision was also turned down in December.

But officers say the latest plan, submitted by clients of David Taylor Associates, should be given the go-ahead when it is debated by committee members next Monday, June 1.

Their report to the committee said the applicants had addressed the issues which caused the previous proposal to be rejected.

But the report also reveals that more than 30 people have so far signed a petition against the scheme,.

They argue the plan is an over-development of the site.
