A Lynn man has been remanded in custody after police seized drugs estimated to be worth £50,000 in a raid at the weekend.

Jonathan Brown, 48, of Highfield, Fairstead, appeared before magistrates in Lynn yesterday, accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court on March 15.

Police say the case is related to a search they carried out at the St Nicholas Retail Park on Sunday afternoon, in which a man was found to be in possession of a wrap, thought to be cocaine.

Officers then searched a property on Highfield, where more drugs were found.

A second man, in his late 20s, was also arrested in connection with the incident.

He was later released on bail until April 3, pending further inquiries.
