King’s Lynn man in court on robbery charges

A man accused of a robbery on a Lynn cycle path has appeared in Norwich Crown Court this week.

Jack Greenacre, 25, of De Grey Road, Gaywood,has been charged with robbery and attempted robbery in connection with an incident on the cycle path near Edward Benefer Way and Gaywood Road.

The incident happened at around 7.30am on December 16.

He appeared in court on Tuesday.

But the case has adjourned until March 17 for a plea and case management hearing.

n In a separate case, Derek Harris, 69, of St Benets Grove, South Wootton, also appeared in Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday.

He is facing two counts of assault and one charge of an offensive weapon in South Wootton on August 22.

James Harris, 38, of Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, is also facing a charge of grievous bodily harm.

This case has been adjourned to Monday, February 15, for a plea and case management hearing.
