A Lynn man has appeared in court charged with possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs with a street value of more than £15,000.

Amadou Bah, 38, of Lindens, faced four drugs offences at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

He is accused of producing 26 cannabis plants, possessing 1.8 kilograms of cannabis with intent to supply, 464.9 grams of cannabis resin with intent to supply and 27 grams of cocaine with intent to supply.

The charges arose after police carried out an early morning search of Bah’s vehicle on May 20.

Bah spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address and did not enter pleas to any of the charges.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and sent the matter to Norwich Crown Court to be dealt with. Bah is due to appear at the court for a preliminary hearing on October 29. He was released on unconditional bail until then.
