An employee from Walkers, the Peugeot dealership in Horsley’s Field, Lynn, has conquered a gruelling 400 mile cycle ride from Paris to Peugeot’s UK head office, Pinley House in Coventry, to raise money for its national charity partner, Children in Need.
Jamie King has been training 100 miles a week in preparation for the mammoth four day ride, and that dedication has paid off. Not only did Jamie finish the epic challenge, he has raised over £300.
Peugeot is coordinating a series of charity challenges which will see the whole dealership network getting involved to raise cash for disadvantaged children. As well as the Paris to Coventry bike ride, team Peugeot will be hiking, abseiling and sky diving to help exceed Peugeot’s target of raising £1 million for the charity over the partnership so far.
Stéphane Le Guével, managing director of Peugeot UK said: “The Peugeot charity challenges are a great way for Dealership teams up and down the country to get involved. Whether it’s the adrenaline rush of a skydive, a tough Lake District hike or the mammoth Paris to Coventry bike ride – Peugeot Dealerships will all be working together to raise money for Children in Need.”
