Students from Lynn’s KES Academy have presented West Norfolk Carers with a cheque for £169.52, half of the money being raised during the last academic year through a series of non-uniform days.

The money was donated by pupils from one of the school’s four houses, Keene Thoresby, with each house deciding individually where the money raised will go.

Pastoral assistant Emma Appleby said: “This year the students chose to split the money between West Norfolk Carers, because so many of the children access the services, and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.”
