The Rotary Foundation Committee have presented a Paul Harris Fellowship Award to Steve Roberts in recognition of his 30 years of service to the Rotary movement and lifelong service to Scouting.

The award, named after the founder of Rotary, is one of the highest to be bestowed in the movement.

Steve, a twice former president of the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn, received the award to a standing ovation.

He said: “This has come as a complete surprise and it is a great honour to receive this award.”
