For many years it has been the practice of The Rotary Club of King’s Lynn president to lay a wreath on the War Memorial at the Armistice Day parade.

On this occasion when collecting the wreath from the Royal British Legion campaign headquarters, the opportunity was taken for club president Keith Boyce to present a £300 cheque for the Poppy Appeal which was received by Major Bill Kerr, chairman of Norfolk Royal British Legion, who had recently spoken at a club meeting on the modern day work of The Royal British Legion.
