Lynn’s Member of Youth Parliament is to travel to Westminster to debate the top five issues affecting young people.
The topic list was decided by a national vote, which more than 19,000 young people in Norfolk participated in . A call for a living wage for all topped the list. The number of Norfolk 11 to 18 year olds voting in the Make Your Mark ballot more than tripled this year, putting the county in the top five in the UK.
North West Norfolk MYP Thomas Bailey, 17, of Lynn, said: “It’s great to see democracy in action.”
