Pupils at the Rosebery School, in Lynn, are celebrating the arrival of a new pool table which has been donated to them by a local company who wish to remain anonymous.

After their old table reached the end of its life, Year 10 pupils raised money towards a new one by holding an Easter fair, which brought in £250. But thanks to a contact of the school’s PE instructor Nick Matthews, a company stepped forward to buy one.

The pool table is such a vital piece of equipment, especially at lunch and during PE when it is wet, as there is very little outdoor space and one small room for break. The £250 raised from the fair will now be used to purchase some new sports equipment.
