Children joined volunteers to help spring clean a woodland area in Gaywood this week.

Pupils from the Howard Infant School are pictured above taking part in the session in the Plantation Wood on Tuesday morning.

Our picture shows five-year-old Travis Bush filling one of the litter bags provided by the Friends of Plantation Wood.

He is being helped by Nicola Marray-Woods, the Woodland Trust’s community co-ordinator for the area.
