A celebration of the 30th anniversary of the opening of St Katherine’s Court in Lynn was held on Monday.

Special guest was the Borough Mayor, Barry Ayres, and the event proved to be a great a success with everyone enjoying themselves.

The sheltered housing complex in Dodman’s Close is made up of 42 one-bedroomed flats, and is operated by Broadland Housing Association.

Florence John, the sheltered housing scheme manager, said: “The afternoon was fantastic. All the tenants were happy to meet the mayor and he got involved and spoke to everyone. They’re still all talking about him!”
