Tonight (Wednesday), 7.30pm, the King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars host Leicester at the Adrian Flux Arena aiming for a quick double over the Lions this week.
The Stars picked up their first away win of the season on Monday, in a rain-affected 50-34 win at Beaumont Park.
All seven members of Rob Lyon’s side performed well and held onto an early 14-point lead to claim their fifth win of the season, which moved them up to second in the Elite League table.
Lyon says that his side need to keep their momentum and be ready for the latter stages of the season. He said: “Last year we started like a house on fire, like Coventry have this season, but as far as I’m concerned it’s all about getting into the top four.
“It’s still early days in the league and no reason for panic stations just yet. As long as we are ready to mount a challenge at the business end of the season I’ll be happy.”
Gates will open at 6pm onwards, with the parade taking place at 7.30pm.
