Following Monday night’s defeat at Belle Vue, the King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars are aiming to quickly bounce back and take maximum league points when table-topping Coventry visit the Adrian Flux Arena tonight, 7.30pm.
Lynn boss Rob Lyon has kept his side unchanged for the fixture and he will be looking for a response against the Bees who have started the season well.
Although the Stars remain unbeaten at home, Lyon admits that some of his riders are not at top form, but is working hard to turn that around.
“The quality in the 1-7 is there, but it needs to be firing on all cylinders to make it work and that is the focus of attention right now,” said Lyon.
Coventry team manager Gary Havelock has got his side to the top of the Elite League table at this early stage of the season. Five wins out of a possible seven means that the meeting on Wednesday night will not be easy for the Stars, but after Monday’s loss, they will be keen to keep their unbeaten record at home.
Gates will open at 6pm on Wednesday with the parade taking place at 7.30pm.
