King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars are still in search of an away win in 2015 after suffering a 55-37 defeat at Swindon’s Abbey Stadium on Thursday night.

The Stars failed to maintain their match winning performance from the victory over the Robins on Wednesday, as they fell four points behind after just four races.

At the halfway stage of the meeting, Rob Lyon’s side slipped 10 points behind, which allowed for the use of the tactical ride rule.

Stars number one Niels-Kristian Iversen was given the black and white helmet colour in heat 10, but the Dane could only manage a second place as Swindon’s stand-in captain Nick Morris produced a smart first bend to take victory.

The last three races went the way of the home side which resulted in the Stars falling to an 18-point defeat.

Swindon Robins: Hans Andersen 13, Nick Morris 11+3, Grzegorz Zengota 8, Kyle Howarth 7+1, Kyle Newman 7+1, Chris Harris 6+1, Lewis Rose 3+1.

Stars: Niels-Kristian Iversen 11, Lewis Kerr 8+2, Robert Lambert 6, Rory Schlein 6, Nicklas Porsing 3, Kenneth Bjerre 3, Ashley Morris 0.
