Norfolk Hospice has been given £2,375 in funding by the Screwfix Foundation, a charity which supports projects to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and facilities for those in need. Sue Lane, from the hospice said: “The funding will be used for various renovations to our centre, including installation of storage cupboards and redecoration of one of the quiet rooms used by relatives of patients.”

Jonathan Sims, manager Lynn’s Screwfix store in Oldmedow Road, said: “Staff from across the business have held a variety of fundraising events to raise vital funds for the Foundation, so it’s fantastic to see the money we have raised being invested back into such a worthwhile community project.” Pictured, from left, Sue Lane, Jonathan Sims and Jessica Walker (community fundraiser at the hospice)
