A new Tornado art trail has been launched in Lynn to mark the centenary of the foundation of RAF Marham.

Fifteen decorated models of the aircraft have been placed at sites around the town centre, together with 24 history boards about the base, and will remain in place until the end of September.

The trail was launched on Thursday, after the base exercised its freedom of the borough in a parade on the Tuesday Market Place.

Borough mayor David Whitby, left, is pictured with the station’s commander, Group Captain Rich Davies, who was presented with one of the Spitfire models displayed in last year’s trail.
