A Lynn woman has been given a two-year driving ban after admitting causing the death of a motorcyclist last year.

Maureen Haller, 58, of Langlands, admitted a charge of causing the death of Matthew Thompson by careless driving.

Mr Thompson, 32, of Wimbotsham, died in hospital following the collision on the A149 at Castle Rising on February 16, last year.

Haller was disqualified for two years and ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work during a sentencing hearing at West Norfolk Magistrates Court today (Monday, May 12).
