On Friday night, the King’s Lynn Stebbings Car Superstore Young Stars are back in action at the Adrian Flux Arena as they host Stoke in the National League.

Dale Allitt’s side will be keen to get back to racing and put behind them the defeat at Mildenhall on Sunday.

The Young Stars remain unchanged for the meeting and Allitt is looking to his side to respond on Friday.

He said: “Again we come back to the Arena needing to put behind us a defeat, but the guys responded well against Buxton last time out so I am hoping for the same.

“The team is comfortable riding at the Adrian Flux Arena, because they know that they will get consistent conditions, something we have not really had away from home this season.”

“Stoke have a good side with Jon Armstrong and Lee Payne, they will test us on Friday, but I believe that we have enough quality in our side to take maximum points.”

Gates at the Adrian Flux Arena open at 6.30pm. Admission prices: Adults £11, concessions £9, juniors £4, Under 11 go FREE.

Young Stars: 1 James Cockle, 2 Josh Bailey, 3 Scott Campos, 4 Shane Hazelden, 5 Tom Stokes, 6 Layne Cuppit, 7 Ryan Kinsley.

Stoke Potters: 1 Jon Armstrong, 2 Chris Widman, 3 Ryan Terry -Daley, 4 Danny Phillips, 5 Lee Payne, 6 Ryan McDonald, 7 Robert Parker.

* The Stars had a visit from television commentator and former Great Britain rider Kelvin Tatum last week who brought a prototype engine to the Adrian Flux Arena.

Stars supremo Buster Chapman said: “Robert Lambert jumped on the bike and within a couple of laps he was flying.”
