Officials have issued a final plea for West Norfolk residents to ensure they are registered to vote ahead of next month’s police and crime commissioner election.
The deadline for voter registration is next Monday, April 18.
Mary Colangelo, the borough council’s electoral services manager, said: “Time is fast running out to make sure you can take part in these elections.
“Our message is simple: if you’re not registered by 18 April, you can’t vote. You need to act now if you’re not already registered.”
Officials say moving house isthe most common reason for not registering.
Ben Brook, of the Electoral Commission, added: “If you’re not registered, you won’t be able to have your say on issues that directly affect your day-to-day life in west Norfolk.”
