Armed raiders hit more homes
SHOTS were fired when a gang of masked robbers targeting West Norfolk homes struck again.
The gang has now struck on five consecutive nights and Norfolk's Major Investigation Team believe they have also carried out at least one other attack.
Shots were fired on Monday at Lynn Road in Wereham and one in Upwell on Sunday.
In one of the attacks, in Stow Bridge, a householder was hit around the head with a sawn-off shot gun and left bloody and dazed, as reported in the Lynn News.
Police are linking Monday night's attack with raids at homes in Nordelph on Monday, (September 10), Stow Bridge on Thursday (September 13), North Runcton on Saturday (September 15), one at Upwell and another at Elm, which both happened on Sunday (September 16).
Officers are also considering a possible link with an armed robbery at the Comfort Inn, in Northwold, on August 28 and an aggravated burglary at a home in Vong Lane, Pott Row, on Friday (September 14).
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
