Armed robbers strike at Mundford

A SHOP worker was threatened by three men armed with thick pieces of wood in a robbery at Mundford yesterday evening.

The incident happened at the Mace shop, in St Leonard's Street, at around 8.20pm, when the men entered the store and stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

After telling a female staff member to lock the front door they took the key and made off out of a back door to a vehicle.
