Assault on Lynn schoolgirl, 15

A SCHOOLGIRL was pushed to the floor and had her bag stolen as she walked along a cycle path with two friends.

The robbery happened on Lynn's Tennyson Avenue as the 15-year-old was walking towards Gaywood at around 8.30am on Tuesday, January 29.

A man approached from behind on a cycle and pulled at the victim's school bag. He then pushed her forward, causing her to fall to the ground, and removed the bag before riding off.

The offender is described as white, around 19 years old, and was wearing black baseball cap with dark hair poking out.

He was also wearing a dark blue waterproof jacket with a white motif on the left-hand side, black trousers, a blue jumper and black shoes.

He was riding a silver sports-style bike.
