Baby store's incredible offer will boost appeal
AN incredible chance to win almost £3,000 of baby goods is on offer in a fundraising effort for the Lynn News Special Care Baby Appeal.
Gaywood's Noah's Ark Baby Store is offering a top prize worth more than 1,900, containing everything a new mum could need, including a black Bugaboo Gecko three-in-one stroller, Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat, East Coast Pine cot bed and mattress and much, much more.
There is a second prize worth 750 and third valued at 250 – with prizes suitable for a slightly older child.
The store is asking for 1 donation per entry, with all proceeds going to the 150,000 appeal for Lynn''s Queen Elizabeth Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for ill and premature babies.
The Special Care Baby Appeal is close to the hearts of store owners Sean and Tara Lake, who have five children aged from two to 14 years.
Mr Lake said: "Four out of five have ended up in the special care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, not for anything serious just for a day or two.
"We just know what a worrying time it is for parents and feel it's a really good appeal."
Mr and Mrs Lake put in hours of work to secure the prizes from suppliers.
Mr Lake said: "We really have been so surprised by the generosity of some of the companies.
"The first prize includes everything a mum-to-be could want for her and her new baby."
To stand a chance of winning, simply drop into Noah's Ark Baby Store, Wootton Road, Gaywood and fill in an entry form. There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
The winners will be drawn on Tuesday, March 31.
