Biker in Sandringham crash

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with back pains after being thrown off his 1,000 cc bike in a collision with a car at Sandringham Saturday lunchtime.

The incident happened at 1.32pm on the A149, and involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a blue Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle. An ambulance took the rider to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Lynn.

Four people, including two children, were in the Vectra. The driver and one of the children suffered shock but otherwise the car occupants escaped injury.
