BIRCHAM NEWTON: Fine after man threatened woman

An osteopath has been fined £300 by Lynn magistrates for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

James Kemp, 49, of Bagthorpe Road, Bircham Newton, admitted the offence, which took place in Docking on November 11 last year.

He was also made the subject of a one-year restraining order not to contact the victim or two others, or enter her home; £115 costs were imposed.

Kemp previously denied a charge of witness intimidation on November 11 which was discharged by the bench.
