Boys who died on railway track are named

THE two 17-year-old boys who died after they were apparently struck by a train have been named as Luthor Storr and Shaun Barnes.

British Transport Police have confirmed that they were called to railway tracks near a level crossing at Mill Road, St Germans, at 8.30am on Saturday, and the boys' bodies were found.

Officers are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

A forensic examination of the scene has been carried out and CCTV footage from the area has been retrieved.

Police are appealing for information that may assist, including about the boys' movements earlier in the night, and want anyone with information to contact them on 0800 40 50 40.
