Bumper Hillington cheque for RNLI

GATTON Waters Caravan Park has celebrated another fantastic year of fundraising by presenting a cheque for £4,500 to the RNLI.

The money was raised by caravanners and site owners Mr and Mrs James and Carolyn Donaldson, who raised the money through a vast array of imaginative events throughout the season at the Hillington-based park.

These include a duck race across the lake, bar skittles, a bingo night, barbecue breakfast, awning sale, book sales and an auction.

This year's effort takes the total raised at the park to 9,500 in just three years.
