Business as usual at Lynn firm

THE owner of Lynn's J and I Motors has assured customers his business will continue as normal despite the site being bought by West Norfolk Council as part of the town's marina development.

On Tuesday the Lynn News reported that a council report revealed the site on Boal Street had been acquired as part of the Waterside Regeneration Project and that steps were being taken to purchase other parcels of land.

But J and I Motors owner Jim Wheals has insisted the business will not be moving for the foreseeable future.

He said: "This has been going on for a number of years.

"The council wants the site, so in the end we gave in and sold it to them.

"We have got a minimum of 18 months here and it is very much business as usual."
