Campaign Care 94 has handed over cheques worth more than £4,000 to Norfolk Hospice Tapping House and Bob Champion Cancer Trust at their annual dinner at the Le Strange Arms, Old Hunstanton.

The charity has been raising money for these two charities for 18 years and continues to support them both. Over the years they have raised similar amounts as they organise a number of events each year, including quizzes, bingo nights and golf days.

Jim Race, a trustee, said the evening went “very well” and praised everyone for attending the event as the weather was predicted to be treacherous and they still had an amazing turnout.

Guest speaker Sid Kipper did a grand job while Scent with Love provided spectacular floral table decorations.
