Cigarette starts Lynn house blaze

A DROPPED cigarette started a house fire in Sir Lewis Street, Lynn, on Monday.

Two fire crews from the town attended the scene just after 1pm and the small fire was put out in less than 15 minutes using hand held fire extinguishers.

A fire service spokesman said the blaze had been started by a dropped cigarette and was not serious.
