Clenchwarton fire affects three

THREE people suffered the effects of smoke inhalation in a fire at a Clenchwarton home.

Two fire engines were called to the scene in Warrens Road at 2.01pm yesterday after a fire sparked in a washing machine.

Two men and a woman were treated by ambulance and fire crews on the scene.
