Collapse was ‘drink-related’

A CROWD gathered as ambulance and police services were called to help a man who had collapsed in Gaywood yesterday.

The man, who was in his 40s, had collapsed in the front garden of a house in the Gaywood Road area at around 8.20am.

The man was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and treated for drink-related problems.

A spokesman for the QEH said: “The man was actually brought in on Wednesday with the same problem, but discharged himself.”
