Couple disturb would-be Southery burglars

AN elderly couple on an evening stroll are thought to have disturbed two would-be burglars as they tried to force the window of a home in Common Lane, Southery.

The two men left the scene empty handed and fled in a car which had been parked in Pringle Way, between 5.30pm and 5.55pm yesterday.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information about the escape-vehicle, thought to have been a dark coloured saloon, to contact Lynn CID on 0845 456 4567.
