Crews called to car off road

POLICE and an ambulance were called to the B1160 near Wissington sugar beet factory last night after a car went off the road and into a ploughed field.

The driver of the blue Mazda MX5, who has not been named, suffered only a minor injury and was able to go home.

His car, which had been heading towards Wereham, was the only vehicle involved in the 8.17pm incident, a police spokesman said.
