EMERGENCY services were called to two single vehicle road accidents in the space of 20 minutes this morning (Friday).

The first incident was reported at around 8.50am when a black Vauxhall Corsa left the road and crashed into a field while travelling on the B1145 at Great Massingham close to the junction with Rougham Road.

The male driver suffered minor back injuries.

The fire service was then called to Swaffham to help free a trapped motorist from a blue Renault Magane, which crashed on the A1065 Brandon Road at around 9.10am.

The 41-year-old female driver was not injured.
