A teenager from Dersingham braved the clippers in memory of her grandad when she had her hair shaved off on Monday to raise money for Cancer Research.

Anna Lewis, 15, a student at Springwood High School, is pictured with, from left, Hannah Farthing, Charley Davis and Virginija Trofimoviene. She said: “I decided i wanted to raise money for such a worthy cause because of the sad loss of my granddad.” She had her head shaved by Ms Farthing at the Old School House Hair Company in Old Hunstanton.

She added: “I was a bit nervous before I had it cut, but I’m getting used to it now.”
