Died due to blood loss

A 78-year-old Gaywood man was found dead at home with multiple incision wounds in both his forearms, an inquest opening heard on Wednesday.

Retired factory worker Ronald Evans, of Corbyn Shaw Road, was discovered last Tuesday when a welfare check was carried out at his home.

Opening the inquest in Norwich, Greater Norfolk coroner William Armstrong said a postmortem revealed the cause of death as severe blood loss.

The hearing was adjourned until a date to be fixed.
