Don't try this at home . . . watch a sword swallower in action
SWORD swallowers around the world attempted to swallow over 480 inches of steel between them for International Sword Swallowing Awareness Day. And Lynn joined in!
Hannibal Helmerto, from visiting theatre company The Circus of Horrors, got to grips with a 42-inch blade at Lynn Corn Exchange, to join fellow sword swallowers attempting similar feats in America.
To add extra spice, 38-year-old Hannibal - whose top two ribs are permanently broken - held a sword swallowing workshop for anyone wanting to have a go.
