Six months’ free chiropody treatment raised £1,003 for the Royal British Legion when it was the prize in a raffle.
It was offered by Natalie Piper, of the Feet First Clinic in Downham.
“I was aiming for £500 and to double that is outstanding I was really really happy,” said Natalie.
“Ever since I was a young girl, poppy day seemed to me as a good idea and now I’ve got my own clinic I have the opportunity to contribute to this charity.”
