FAKENHAM: Learn to grow fruit and vegetables

Learn to grow your own fruit and vegetables and receive a free starter pack to set you on your way.

Novice gardeners are invited to attend a Gardening in Fakenham launch event at the community centre on Friday, March 15.

The project has acquired its own allotment on Greenway Lane, supplied by the town council, and can also provide free support and resources. At the launch, which runs from 4pm to 7pm, there will be top tips from a panel of experts and the chance to book informal ‘grow your own’ training sessions led by Chris Wright of Roots and Shoots at Holt Hall.

During the first hour you can also try your hand at playing African drums and from 5pm have a go at Bollywood dancing.

Further information from Pauline Chamberlain at Fakenham High school on 01328 857145.
