FAKENHAM: More names, please

Fakenham town clerk Jan Perfect has made an appeal for more nominations for the council’s Community Volunteer Award Shield.

She has so far received only one entry for this annual presentation, which recognises those in the town who give their services for free with no thought of reward.

This year, for the first time, the award has been extended to include groups as well as individuals.

The nominee must live or function in Fakenham and provide voluntary work within the town.

The closing date for your nominations is Sunday, March 31.

Please write to the clerk at Fakenham Connect, Oak Street, NR21 9DY or email info@fakenhamtowncouncil.co.uk
