Fakenham murder: Man appears in court

A 28-YEAR-old man charged with the murder of Fakenham father Steven Murphy appeared at Norwich Crown Court this morning (Tuesday).

Andrew Cameron, of no fixed address, appeared only briefly and there was no application for bail. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the court again on Friday.

The second man charged with the murder, Alexander Dewar (23), of St James Road, Blackpool, is due to appear at Lynn Magistrates Court later today (Tuesday) after he was charged on Friday.

Mr Murphy (45) was found dead at his Kings Road home by his mother on October 1 last year.
