Fakenham murder: man remanded

A MAN appeared in court this morning after being charged with the murder of Fakenham man Anthony Griffiths.

Mr Griffiths (60), of Hall Close, was found dead at his home on Monday.

Neil Kevin Terrence Hirrel (40), of Wensum Way, Fakenham, was charged with his murder last night (12).

He appeared at Lynn Magistrates' court this morning where he was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on March 26.
