Fakenham window work underway

WORK has started on the west window renovation of Fakenham Parish Church.

The 40,000 project will replace the old tinted glass and create a clear prospect from the western end of the building, the crumbling stone tracery will be repaired and the lead panels renewed.

A fundraising drive has helped raise the majority, with a contribution from church patron Trinity College, Cambridge, of 5,000.

It is hoped the work will be completed in time for the Christmas tree festival.
